Quality Inspector

**Quality Inspector, Redditch, £25-30k**

My client is an established and very successful engineering company supplying precision-made products to a variety of industries and sectors. They are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.

You will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring compliance for all aspects of quality.
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; completing and confirming re-work meets the required standard.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment in good operating condition by following operating instructions.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Driving quality objectives to improve Company efficiency and profitability.
- Maintaining standards for health and safety in accordance with HSE standards.
- Recording, analysing, and distributing Quality information.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- QA background within engineering and/or manufacturing.
- Ability to use a range of manual measurement equipment, additional knowledge of either
- CMM or Faro arm operation would be useful.Ability to read technical drawings and determine the requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A good level of computer literacy.

Hours are 8.15 am to 17.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.15am to 14.15pm on a Friday.
