World-Class Software Consultancy based in Glasgow (although are offering a lot of remote / flexible working) are looking for a skilled Front End Engineer to join one of their skilled projects team.
The company are well established, they've been running now for well over 15 years and are recognised as one of the 'go-to' consultancies for their services. The company largely create large-scale platforms with Open Source & Cloud based technologies - theylive and breathe modern technology here and are always striving to work with the latest bit of kit, so are ideally looking for a similar fit.
The company have an experienced technical team well over 20 strong, boasting Back-End Developers, Full Stack Developers, UX Designers, Testers, Scrum Masters and of course - Front End Developers. As it stands, they are looking for an additional Developer tojoin the team, ideally with a good amount of commercial experience under their belt.
You'll ideally have at least a couple years of commercial experience with Front End JavaScript, ideally with experience of working with React.js on a few projects. They'd also consider someone with Angular or Vue.js skills but as they use React.js on theirprojects, React.js would obviously be preferred. Something else that would make you stand out for the role is previous experience with typed languages, they use TypeScript so that would be preferred but experience with any other typed languages will be lookedon favourably too.

The company are true believers on doing Software Development correctly and strongly adhere to best practices (TDD, BDD, SOLID) so they are looking for someone that also embody these principles. Equally they have adopted modern methodologies (Agile, Scrum,DevOps) so exposure with these approaches are very handy.
You'll ideally have commercial experience with the following;
***HTML, CSS, **JavaScript**
**Web Frameworks (**React.js, Vue.js and/or Angular**))
**Working in an **Agile** environment
Experience with the following is highly desirable;
***Typed Languages** (**TypeScript**)
***Cloud Technologies (**AWS would be handy)
The company are based in central Glasgow, however like many are currently working remotely with no real plans to return to the office (however the office is open for those that would rather work onsite). They do plan to head back at some point but will stilloffer a fair amount of home working long-term.
The salary on offer for this role is £30k - £45k on top of a good list of benefits, the company also help create tailored career plans for each employee and can offer loads of scope for career progression.
