**About the role**

We are recruiting a Policy Advisor to join the NHS Confederation’s influential Health Economic Partnerships team. In this role, you will:

- Assist colleagues by providing intelligence, statistical and analytical support on the role of the NHS in the economy, presenting to both internal and external audiences.
- Build and maintain a range of partnerships with national and local stakeholders across all sectors.
- Work with experts in the policy team to formulate innovative policy responses and influence decision-makers.
- Work with partners on long term ‘deep dive’ projects related to the NHS as an economic and social investment.
- Develop new ideas for how our members deliver on health and wealth, including progressing them from conception to delivery.

**About you**

We would love to hear from you if you:

- Have strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to understand how policy can unlock change on the ground.
- Are passionate about exploring the big questions the NHS and economic leaders are asking, for instance how health should fit with devolution and how can economic policy improve population health.
- Are able to grasp complex issues quickly and to interpret and present your findings rapidly, for a variety of audiences.
- Have excellent communication skills, a willingness to develop your personal networks, and are able to manage competing priorities.
