THE ROLE

Our UX designers are creative task-based problem solvers who are passionate about creating experiences that engage the imagination whilst empowering users to bring the brand to life.

Involved in projects from the beginning, working closely with Senior UX Designers or the Experience director to help produce the experience vision from concept to finished product, as part of the wider UX team all reporting into our Experience Design Director.

They’re human centred and best practice fundamentalists that approach projects with both rational and innovative mindsets. They know that the only constant is change and embrace the unknown with maturity, empathy, tenacity, and a willingness to try new things.

This specific team is based in Edinburgh as part of a highly talented and passionate team of innovators, makers, crafters, strategist, and producers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITES- Understands product specifications and identifies user touchpoints/ interactions through the various journeysWorking with Agile project teams and key stakeholders to develop and own the delivery of user centred solutions within project timeframes and objectivesConducts remote and on-site usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and engagementProvide deliverables including wireframes, information architecture, persona creations, user stories, user flows, prototypes, audits and UX benchmarkingWorks collaboratively with other designers, product design and development teams, business analysts, engineers, and project managers to create intuitive, user-friendly software

PERSON SPECIFICATION- 2+ years’ experience in UX Design, both hands on and working conceptuallySolid understanding and demonstration of UX design
- principles, with mastery in design tools, methodologies, processes, best practices, and key deliverablesThe ability to work on the design of large and complex systems of interactionsChampion Human-Centred Design (HCD) principles and processes, ensuring outcomes meet both business and user goalsAble to collaborate and work closely with other disciplines and have an understanding of design that goes beyond Experience DesignTech savvy, future facing, curious and innovative in approach
