Leisure Supervisor

**JCB Golf & Country Club are looking for a Leisure Supervisor to join the team**:

**Overview of the role**:
Supervising and monitoring all activities that take place in the gym within the JCB Championship Fitness Suite. You will be responsible for leading the gym team to deliver exceptional member and guest services, creating memorable engagement at all times while role-modelling expected behaviour.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Manage adequate and effective team rota’s and scheduling od any activities within the Gym
- Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
- Leading the gym team to deliver JCB’s ways of operating and standards, and ensuring health and safety compliance at all times.
- Leading the team to ensure that all gym equipment is working and clean at all times and signage, member communication and music levels, are consistent and deliver a great member experience.
- Liaising with the Golf & Leisure Operations Manager to ensure that a dynamic programme of activities is provided that match the needs of our members and is delivered consistently.
- Acting as first point on contact and taking ownership for any gym team member queries or concerns.
- Supporting the Golf & Leisure Operations Manager in ensuring that we recruit great people and induct, train, manage and develop a high performance team.
- Knowing our club and engaging with members about their activities and seeking ways to improve their experience of the JCB Championship Fitness Suite at every opportunity.
- Operating and Supporting the reception desk to ensure that gym bookings, Golf Bookings and Members Golf days are welcomed and taken care off
- Educating the team by producing SOP’s to cover all aspects of the gym’s operations.
- Deliver Ad hoc activities as required.
- Be part of a wider team, supporting the Golf Operations team when and where required
- Flexibility to work early mornings, daytimes, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

**About you**:

- Minimum REPs or CIMSPA recognised Level 2 Personal Trainer
- Experience in the Fitness Industry
- Experience supervising team members in a service led industry - desirable
- Coaching and motivational skills
- Passionate about customer service
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Team player
- Good organisational skills
- Genuine passion for fitness
