The Organisation:
Wayforward Specialist Support Services LTD s a new organisation which has been formed following a collaboration of like-minded individuals who are passionate about offering bespoke care services to people with a learning disability & autism.
Whilst this organisation is newly formed its group of Directors have a wealth of experience between them. The Board of Directors is made up of 3 individuals between them holding over 50 years of experience in the Health, Social Care & the Business sector.

Your role: As a Waking night Support Worker, you’ll be helping the people we support to live the individual life they want. You will work closely with the service manager, directors and support staff to provide be-spoke person-centred support, in line with the persons individual support plans and in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures. You will be helping the people we support to live comfortably in their own homes.
- This will involve dealing with any disruption during the night,
- Updating & maintaining documentation,
- Helping with jobs around their house,
- Helping people with their evening & morning routines,
- Monitoring the persons physical health needs.
Waking night support workers are required to remain awake during the night. Wayforward provide 24/7 support so you will need to be flexible & work shifts on a rota basis to include bank holidays & weekends.

Experience is not essential as a comprehensive induction & training is provided. Wayforward supports adults with a learning disability to have the same opportunities as everyone else, and to fulfill their potential & live the life they want to.

We want to develop you as a Support Worker, this means, we will expect you to get involved and contribute in meetings, attend training courses, seek development opportunities and work towards gaining industry recognized qualifications.

Wayforward is a professionally led organization having two registered Learning disability nurses at the helm. We provide nurse led social care, helping to promote emerging independence, utilizing bespoke packages of care.
