**Senior Hydraulic Mechanic**

**Role**:
WellGear’s Drumoak base. On a day-to-day basis the role will be maintaining a range of Hydraulic equipment, engines, rotating equipment and Pumps. The right person must be self motivated and enjoy working on such equipment.

This includes but is not limited to:

- Servicing and general maintenance of equipment
- Overhaul of equipment
- Assembly of new build equipment
- Working with the maintenance management system
- Lead and work with trainee/apprentices
- Perform occasional site visits (onshore/offshore) for breakdowns or as required.
- Experience of hydraulics essential
- Hands on approach with a can-do attitude
- High level of attention to detail
- Takes pride in their work
- Self-motivated, driven and determined.
- Prior experience of drilling maintenance and equipment (Pumps, rotaries, hydraulic powerpacks, etc)
- Excellent interpersonal skills

**Experience**

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

The following or equivalent courses are desirable
- Hydraulics Level 1 & 2
- Hydraulic Hose Assembly Course
- Offshore Survival
- UK Medical

**Rewards**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
