Junior Business Analyst

**About The Role**
Digitalent are delighted to be working with a leading testing and certification provider who are based in Manchester City Centre. They have over 160 years’ experience and are proud to have evolved into the successful company they are today, investing year onyear in their people, systems and infrastructure.
They are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join their Manchester based technology team in a role that will give you significant exposure to core business systems and the chance to build close working relationships with end users, developers and otherteam members.
**Role**
- As a Junior Business Analyst reporting to the Head of Business Analysis, you will find ways to use technology to continuously improve their customer service and the efficiency of their business operations.
- Analyse business process models to identify where existing or new technology can be used to improve operational efficiency
- Working with key stakeholders from across the business to identify needs, propose solutions, evaluate changes and manage their expectations
- Use and interpret data to determine patterns, errors, trends to support a change in process and/or systems
- Analyse, validate, prioritise and document functional and non-functional requirements for business situations resulting in written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and present to stakeholders when necessary
- Testing solutions and managing releases through to the production environment
- Providing support to users on an ad-hoc basis

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Experienced in being part of the delivery of projects
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Competent in problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to respond to rapidly changing business priorities
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management

**Desirable**
- Offer experience using and configuring Microsoft Dynamics Customer Services or another enterprise CRM system
- Experienced in being part of the delivery of large scale projects, using both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, IS or a related field
- Knowledge of writing database queries using SQL
- Exposure to other Microsoft technologies and platforms e.g. Navision, Azure, Logic Apps/Flow
- Exposure to Field Force planning software
- Microsoft training
