We are currently recruiting for a Learning & Development specialist to join our dynamic and growing team in Uxbridge. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in designing and delivering bespoke training within a mortgage context,who has the ability to identify, design, and deliver business training requirements which will cover inductions, commercial training, soft skills, management development and technical skills.

You will be working within an established team that is a vital part of Pepper's operations, and you will receive ample support so that you can be successful in your role.

**As a Learning & Development Specialist, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Identifying training and development needs arising through a wide range of channels; job analysis, appraisal schemes, quality assurance/internal audit/similar findings and regular consultation with business managers and human resources.
- Deploying effective coaching solutions following the delivery of significant staff training programmes to ensure on going competency is obtained and measured throughout
- Creating, designing, and delivering L&D solutions to support the organisational change and development outlined in the overall L&D strategy using a blend of methodologies, including computer-based learning, self-managed learning, remote delivery, managementcascade, classroom, and on-the-job learning.
- Delivery of programs that have clear business focused aims that enable robust evaluation of the event's effectiveness, and measurement of return on investment and meet the needs of relevant stakeholders.
- Development of a suite of regulatory training modules which is regularly updated and monitored by Compliance in replacement of an existing on-line offering
- Developing effective induction programs and delivery.
- Devising individual learning plans.

**Essential Skills**

Experience in a regulated financial services training function is of benefit but not essential as someone who has coached in other sectors, for example a retail call center environment would also be able to add value.

Desirable Skills

In addition, you should be able to:

- Communicate with clarity, accuracy and commitment - be it through composition of concise, complete messages, or through logical and accurate presentation skills;
- Work with specialist third parties who supply training services - for example industry experts with whom we have built relationships;
- Evaluate and measure training activity;
- Demonstrate a bright, confident personality.
- Show a high standard of technical authoring
- Work collaboratively with and supports work colleagues to achieve mutual goals.
