**Transport Controller - Our prestigious client based in Stoke-on-Trent are currently looking for a Transport Controller, within this role you will be responsible for**:
- Coordinating, providing support and information in the running of safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards and defined outcomes during your shift.
- Responsible for the execution of transport plans ensuring transport and network SLA's/KPI's are achieved.
- Controllers are front and centre of the transport operation demonstrating 21st century driver engagement and management.
- Ensuring the wellbeing, performance, and motivation of the driver team through regular performance dialogues, scheduled 1-2-1's as well as ad-hoc communication and engagement
**To be considered for this Transport Controller role, you will need**:
- Logistic Industry experience and knowledge
- Transport Office experience
- Line management capabilities
- H&S knowledge and responsibilities
- Active Leadership
- Proactive and dynamic
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Supervisory skills - managing individual performance/absenteeism/conflict and development
- Commercial Awareness (impact of KPI's)
- Good numerical skills (Essential)
- Good degree of IT literacy (Desirable)

- Immediate start available for this temp - perm role.
- Also includes on site free parking with a positive and friendly environment Monday - Friday 0500-1400 one week 1400-2200 the next, rotating.
- Salary is £12.88PH with the option to work overtime
