Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

Puratos creates ingredients for bakery, patisserie and chocolate.

We are looking to employ an experienced **Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor **at our Buckingham site.

Key tasks include:

- Deputising for the Logistics Manager as required.
- Ensuring orders are picked timely to enable deliveries are made to customers at the right time, with correct documentation and in good condition.
- Ensuring compliance with Group procedures on stock control and physical counting. To include implementation and upkeep of FIFO, communicate with the Goods inwards and Logistics Manager to minimize obsolescence and out of date products, investigation of stock discrepancies and remedial action.
- Scheduling and booking of third-party logistics providers daily when required and managing third party logistic providers external portals for job registration and customer delivery schedule.
- Creation of distribution shipments for all outbounds including export.
- Management of replenishments from external warehouses back to Buckingham in a timely manner to ensure compliance to customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain the off hire of all Chep and Tosca pallet movements for Buckingham.
- Act as cover for the Goods Inwards role of Raw Materials, including Silos.
- Collate and move to appropriate areas including loading of vehicle, conforming to procedure, any defective products requiring segregation and disposal in timely manner.
- Ensure goods received are in accordance with the goods received notes, inspected, processed and entered timely into SAP, once goods have been receipted by the supervisor or Goods inwards.
- To maintain the Finished Goods warehouse and perimeter to agreed levels of GMP housekeeping.
- To ensure that the recycling is processed timely and in accordance with agreed procedures.
- To ensure the daily forklift truck checks are carried out.
- Assist the logistics manager with the imports/exports process in accordance with SOP’s and act as full cover during periods of leave.
- Assist logistics manager and lead quarterly inventory counts including year end count. Manage external facility inventory counts half yearly.

**You will need to have**:

- Relevant licenses for FLT, Counterbalance, Reach & High Level preferred (training can be offered)
- Time management
- An open and inclusive management style
- Reasonable level of Excel proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- SAP proficient is also desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £29,000.00 per year
