Children's Support Worker

Positive Steps Care & Support are looking for passionate and experienced support workers within Cambourne and surrounding areas to join our fantastic organisation. We are aiming to provide safe, responsive, effective, well-led and caring support to individuals with support requirements.

The required support hours are as follows:
Sunday: 7 hours 10:00-17:00.

To enable support, responsibilities will include:

- Supporting a set of twins to fulfiil a 6 weekly activity plan - this needs to carefully decided due to the young peoples risks in the community.
- Supporting the twins to access their local community and activities.
- Working in accordance with the expectations and policies of Positive Steps and the expectations of the individual and outside organisations we support.

Requirements for the position:

- A person who is positive, enthusiastic, compassionate and a friendly individual to help support the people who use our service. You will need to be able to follow the care plan and guidelines in place.
- A minimum of 6 months experience within health and social care, ideally with knowledge and experience surrounding Epilepsy, Autism and ADHD. However, transferable skills and personal experience will be considered.
- A full clean driving licence will be preferred but not essential for this position.
