Finance Business Partner

About the role
Join our finance team in this fantastic part time opportunity Working as part of the broader Telecoms Finance team you will act as the Finance Business Partner for the Telecoms leadership team across Operations and Telesales. You will help define financial and non-financial objectives for the function, and help the teams achieve these targets by monitoring progress and provide thorough operational advise to manage Payroll and Telesales metrics.

You will be responsible for
- Managing Payroll Cost base of £45m across 530 stores
- Business partnering Telecoms Ops team through weekly Payroll Performance Review
- Delivering and validating payroll S2I target of £1.5m across stores
- Relentless focus on convergence to improve the lowest quartile payroll stores
- Reporting and decision support on payroll trials as well as supporting area managers and SOMs with payroll requests
- Business partner to outsourced Telesales team
- Driving contract negotiations with outsourcing telesales provider to deliver tangible savings efficiencies to Telecoms P&L
- Periodic performance review with Ops team and outsourcing company and bi-monthly forecasting
- Identifying and pro-actively highlighting risks and work to mitigate issues across Payroll and Telesales

You will need
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Experience of engaging and working with senior colleagues
- Evolved financial analysis skills alongside ability to interpret data & derive analysis from scratch
- Commercial awareness paired with strong influencing skills
- Resilience & willingness to challenge the status quo
