Bricklayer/labourer

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications.
- Measure and cut materials to ensure accurate fitting.
- Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for construction.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or blocks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in masonry or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in bricklaying techniques and knowledge of different types of masonry materials.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels, as well as power tools used in masonry work.
- Previous experience working alongside carpenters or roofers is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
