Express Bi-Folding Doors are a leading nationwide manufacturer and installer of bespoke architectural aluminium glazing products, as part of our growth plan, we're looking to open dispatch hub out of our newest showroom in Weybridge.

We are look for a Dispatch operative to run this small hub.

The Dispatch Operative will be working in our new showroom in Weybridge Surrey. The purpose of the role is to manage the dispatch facility located in the warehouse serving the south of the country. Manufactured items will be delivered to the warehouse ready for installation by our site teams.

**Main Duties**:

- Check quality of finished items being delivered from Leeds against orders. Ensure that any defects or out of tolerance items are reported to the Projects Coordinator.
- Ensure orders are collated ready for collection/dispatch.
- Maintain stocks of consumable items at all times. Reorder as necessary.
- Ensure that all stock, deliveries and consumables are properly stored in the designated areas and that the warehouse is tidy and organised.
- Be responsible for your own health and safety as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your work. Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times in the warehouse and yard.
- Move stock as and when required using appropriate and suitable equipment. Ensure that any moving and handling equipment is properly maintained and inspected. Any defective equipment should be taken out of service and reported to the Projects Coordinator.
- Support the Projects Coordinator to put in place suitable and sufficient risk assessments for the warehouse area and ensure that safe working practices are used.
- Handle goods in and out using equipment provided.
- Ensure that correct dispatch and delivery records are maintained using Express Bifolding Doors software.
- Computer literate and familiar with word, excel.
- Support the Projects Coordinator to undertake regular stock checks.
- When required be flexible in working hours especially when deliveries or collections are required.
- Assist fitters with installations on site when required.
- Be able to undertake maintenance jobs in the showroom and warehouse.

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
