**Job Title**:Inspector

**Responsible for**:Quality

**Overall purpose of job**:

- Inspects for defects - Visually and utilising Digital/Manual tooling where required.
- Examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects, such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal.
- Compiles paper work.
- Supports and maintains Process improvement, Process control, Lean 5S and Agile activities.
- Utilisation and recording data from NDT tooling - Ultrasonic testing, and similar.
- Utilisation and recording data from CMM
- Ensure external customer satisfaction at all times.
- Driving forward Company capabilities with its manufacturing processes (quality, productivity, safety and customer service).
- Daily Inventory checking and stocking of Consumables.
- Maintains Housekeeping - Assists with Inventory & Deep Cleaning.

Principal Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

- Productivity expectations to meet company standard output rate.
- Initiative in self-development, additional training to develop skills as company requires.
- Complying with 5 S throughout business.
- Assist in carrying out modifications and improvement activities.
- To work in accordance with organisational policies and working practices.
- Effective utilisation of plant, tools, machinery and consumables.
- Adheres to Health and Safety practices, premises cleanliness, Quality & Environmental Standards

**Person Requirements**:

- Previous inspection experience
- CMM (is an advantage)
- NDT inspection (is an advantage)
- Able to work flexible shifts patterns
- Punctual & reliable
- Can provide reference for excellent attendance record.
- Keen to learn and reflects a high self-initiative to excel in the job

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
