**WORKSHOP MANAGER**

We are looking for a motivated Workshop manager to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Transport Director. Manage all aspects of the site, to ensure all maintenance and repairs of vehicles are carried outto the highest standard of quality and in line with legislative and safety requirements. Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with statutory requirements.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Health & Safety - to ensure of own health and safety and that of others by following the safe systems of work and ensure others adhere to these systems.
- Being proactive in a positive Health & Safety culture, which includes near miss reporting and contributing to a no blame culture. Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Managing a team - performance management, training and coaching staff.
- Compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Compliance with the environmental work plan.
- To keep up to date with all new development within this remit and to advise the business accordingly.
- To ensure of undertaking of statutory Health & Safety responsibilities.
- To exercise cost control and maintain service agreements with suppliers.

**Key Result Areas**
- Efficient management and running of the garage.
- Cost control to provide cost efficient service.
- Ensuring Health and Safety checks are carried out.
- Ensuring daily housekeeping routines are carried out.

**Technical Skills/ Qualifications / Experience Required**
- Mechanical knowledge and experience
- Mechanical qualifications NVQ Level 3 / BTEC or equivalent
- CPC National desirable.
- IOSH (Desirable)
