Electrical Engineer

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a personable and motivated **Electrical Engineer.**You will be designing industrial truck conversions and solutions for UK Ex, ATEX and IEC Ex compliant machines; in addition to:
- Creating project specification documents.
- Selecting components for integration into original machine electrical systems.
- Designing electrical schematics to achieve both vehicle functionality and to meet legislative requirements.
- Designing components to be packaged onto vehicles taking account of extreme space constraint limitations.
- Defining electrical enclosure layouts and population.
To be successful in the role of **Electrical Engineer**, we would like to speak to anyone who has experience in the following:
- Proven achievements in the design of complex electrical systems
- BOM generation and the specification/sizing of electrical components.
- A good understanding of mechanical/electrical system integration
- A foundation knowledge of electronics and a degree/HND in electronics,
- Electrical or automotive engineering are essential.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Have CAN protocol knowledge.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience in designing industrial vehicle electrical systems and/or electrical machine systems and controls.
