This is a specialist school for young people that have been unable to cope in a mainstream and have been given an Education, Helath and Care Plan for their Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The school has class sizes of a maximum of ten students and they are heavily invested in developing the wellbeing and self-esteem of these young people.
**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Mental Health Learning Support Mentor you will:
Experience of working with young people that can struggle with their behaviour
A caring and empathetic approach to mental health
An outgoing and resilient nature
The desire to make a difference in the lives of young people that might not have had the best start in life
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Experience of working with young people or adults with additional needs
