**Role Summary**:
The **e-Learning Designer** will be responsible for the instructional design and content development of mission critical learning programs, including but not limited to web-based learning, blended instruction solutions, performance support andvirtual sessions. These online materials will be developed using programs like Articulate Studio or Storyline, Flash, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. After completion, the material will be integrated into the Learning Management System (LMS).

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identifies the skills, knowledge, information, and attitude gaps of employees through discussions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and by synthesizing other provided materials
- Designs and develops instructional material for employee training courses that work to close this gap
- Structure existing content for best learning experience by end-user
- Use e-learning authoring tools to develop learning content and evaluations
- Independently pursues methods gleaned from the field that can be implemented into e-learning to provide effective and efficient training
- Records own voiceover narration for courses or synchronizes provided voiceover to course animation
- Uses multimedia tools to further enhance training courses
- Tests courses for quality assurance and proper spelling/grammar
- Assists with training field managers to use the LMS in order to properly gauge the training of their employees and identify deficiencies
- Assists with the administration of the LMS
- Assists with administration of customer universities
- Provides user support
**Key Skills and Experience**:
- Experience in e-learning development required in a medium to large company or equivalent in college education in an e-learning related or education degree
- Excellent writing, editing and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with SMEs in a team environment
- Ability to self-manage multiple development projects and deadlines
- Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Studio
- Adobe e-Learning Suite Programs (Captivate, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Soundbooth, Encore)
