Dangerous Goods Packer and Planner

We are looking for a Dangerous Goods packer to join our skilled and fast paced team in Hayes. As a DG Packer you will be responsible for the preparation, handling and packing of pre packaged dangerous goods. You are not handling the inner packaging of dangerous goods, you are placing pre packaged dangerous goods into regulated outer packages suitable exporting out the UK. Work is both carried out at customer premises, airline handling agents & other third-party premises. You will also be involved with the packing of pre packaged dangerous goods in the warehouse and assisting with dangerous goods enquiries in the office.

- Location**:Hayes**
- **Monday - Friday**
- **Day Shift 8am to 4.30pm**
- **£22,000 to £27,000** depending on experience
- **28 days holiday** (rising with tenure)
- Overtime regularly available paid at 1.5x base pay

**Role**:

- Handling and packing Dangerous Goods
- Compliance with all Dangerous Goods regulations for customers
- Preparation of paperwork using company computer systems
- Customer service and problem solving
- Quoting and Estimating Jobs
- Supporting the team with daily and weekly planning of resources and work
- Driving to and from site work

**Requirements**:
Essential
- Basic Computer Literate
- Quick reader - good literacy
- Driving license
- Flexible approach (working hours etc)
- Physically fit as some heavy lifting involved
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
