This is a new and modern consultancy firm that have been growing in size over the last few years and are now in a position whereby the need an accounts professional to work along side the Head of Finance. This role comes with progression as the company willgrow in time.

**The role**

Some of the duties are listed below, but more details will be listed on the full job description.

Accounting and reconciling of company’s fee income received.

Assisting with the efficient day-to-day running of the accounts function.

Assisting the Accounts Manager, Management Accountant and Senior Management with all aspects of the accounting function. Assisting with ad hoc finance tasks.

Sales Ledger

Purchase Ledger

Support in the preparation of management accounts - including ownership of specified control account reconciliations

Oversee the purchase ledger including maintaining purchase workflow from ordering to invoicing to approval.

Any other duties deemed appropriate.

**The person**:

- **Have AAT Level 3 or above or be part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent accountancy qualification level**:

- **A or A* Mathematics A-Level**:

- **Experience in working in a financial function with knowledge of accounts payable and bank reconciliations**:

- **Prior experience of supporting with the preparation of management accounts**:

- **Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
