**Field Engineer**

**Basic**:£30,000 - £45,000 including car allowance + benefits

**Role**:Support infrastructure services and solutions through deployment and BAU projects

**Location**:Hybrid - must be able to commute to client site across the UK and Cheshire based office

Our client is a leading IT services and solutions provider who specialise in all aspects of IT Infrastructure including on-premise and in the cloud. They deliver excellent solutions to their customers whilst providing the highest level of service. As technologycontinues to quickly develop, they fulfil the vital role of understanding how these benefit their clients, exploiting new opportunities and increase efficiency. They have a team of highly skills consultants with expertise across Networking and Security, Infrastructure,Virtualisation, and Public / Private cloud platforms.

Due to growth, they are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for supporting new and exiting implementations, deployments, and BAU projects. This is a great opportunity for someone in a 3rd Line Support, Infrastructure Analyst orField Engineer role to take a step into a Technical Consultancy team. You will use your expertise and work with modern Infrastructure technologies to deploy and support new services and solutions for external clients. This is a brilliant opportunity for ahighly skilled and capable individual to join their growing Consultancy Team where you will work closely with the customer and support team to engage solutions deployed with outstanding vendors and market leading technologies.

**Key Responsibilities: Field **Engineer**
- Support clients with infrastructure services and solutions
- Implement new technical network infrastructure to agreed time-scales and deliverables
- Support BAU migrations and projects for clients
- Analysing problems and make recommendations to the wider team and customer
- Prepare documentation and packaging of new technology systems and services to customer and the wider business including progress reports and post consultancy project handover

**Experience Required: Field **Engineer**
- Proven infrastructure experience as a 3rd Line Support Engineer, Infrastructure Analyst, Field Engineer or similar
- Commercial experience of:

- Core Server and Storage experience (Dell hardware or Microsoft Servers as a preference)
- Azure Stack HCI (hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) cluster solution that hosts virtualized Windows and Linux workloads and their storage in a hybrid environment that combines on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services)
- Hyper-V or VMware
- Microsoft O365
- Azure (Active Directory and modern workplace technology)
- Back-up technologies (Veeam as a preference)
- Strong communication skills
- Full driving licence + ability to visit client sites across the UK
