Our client is embarking on the next phase of their technology-enabled business change and transformation. They are delivering a global portfolio of projects and programmes which is complex and spans across business, digital, and customer transformation.
We’ve been engaged to hire a PMO Lead who will support the transition from transformation into project delivery as 'business as usual’. You’ll define the standards for project management to ensure that projects and programme are run in a repeatable, standardisedway to enable business change and transformation. This is a permanent appointment and will be hybrid working.
As PMO Lead you’ll be responsible for managing PMO operations, identifying opportunities for streamlining and improving internal processes, and providing information on implementation projects and project manager activities. Responsibilities are also likelyto include:
- Ensure the right portfolio and project standards and tools are leveraged.
- Develop and deliver portfolio, programme, and project reporting.
- Support development of the capability within PMO and the portfolio team.
- Support Project Governance by attending and supporting regional Project Status reviews and key governance meetings across the business.
- Track project schedules and budgets, highlighting any risk and issues that need to be managed.
- Provide reporting and information to key stakeholders and programme leads.
- Design and implement new PMO processes and procedures. Support the global and regional change management processes.
- Maintain documentation library to define standards, project documents & project files.
- Support internal systems related to delivery functions: JIRA/Confluence/MS Project/Workday.
**Our client is looking for**
We need someone who can direct and lead the whole PMO function, leading PMOs in a complex matrix environment and manage a very senior set of stakeholders in governance and ways of working. You’ll also need to have experience in establishing PMOs and governancefor big global complex ERP transformations.
- Proven experience of working on enterprise project/programmes with comprehensive knowledge around best practices, tools and techniques.
- Track record of providing successful delivery support to multiple projects at one time.
- Stakeholder management to senior leadership.
- Well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Programme/project support across the EMEA region and globally.
- Experience of working in both Agile and waterfall environments.
- Accreditation and practitioner experience of a range of Project Management approaches including PRINCE II, Agile Frameworks & Methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Less), PMI / PMP.
