**Role - Support Worker**
**Location - Stockwell Road, Pembroke Dock**
**Salary - £18,772.00 to £20,333.04 based on 38 hours per week (Days Only) or 35 hours per week (Nights Only)**

We are looking for kind, honest and compassionate Care Assistants to join the team in providing the very best care to our service users.
Much of your role will be spent supporting autistic adults with day-to-day tasks, enabling them the opportunity to live as independent and fulfilling life as possible.
On good days, you’ll take them on day trips, help them prepare meals and make sure they’re getting out and about enjoying some of Wales beautiful countryside.
Other days, you’ll need to take on a more “Carer” focused role, helping vulnerable adults with personal hygiene and care.
Sometimes, if the person you’re supporting is having a hard day, you’ll need to support and keep them safe whilst they calm down.

**A day in the life of a Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves**:

- Providing tailored support to the autistic adults using our services.
- Assisting our Supported Individuals with day to day tasks and decision making.
- Promoting independence by supporting with a range of educational, social and work-based activities.
- Undertaking general housekeeping duties, plus elements of personal care.
- Maintaining accurate record keeping of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.

**To be a successful Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you’ll need**:

- A can-do attitude, resilient and reliable nature.
- Compassion and empathy.
- Enthusiasm to promote independence & choice.
- The ability to work flexibly.
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential.

**In return for your Skills and Expertise, you’ll receive**:

- A salary of £18,772.00 to £20,333.04 based on 38 hours per week (Days Only) or 35 hours per week (Nights Only)
