Position Overview:

The ability to work under pressure and flexibility are key requirements because the Business outlook can change very quickly, and the analysis and reports will need to be modified to ensure information presented is relevant. Therefore, you will need great Microsoft skills to create and generate your own reports. You will need to organise and lead the monthly Demand Meetings and work with the Teams to create and maintain Demand Planning processes.

Job Profile Summary S&OP Senior Demand and Supply Planner

The S&OP Senior Demand and Supply Planner is part of the S&OP Team reporting to the S&OP Manager. The role supports the S&OP process, analysing, reviewing and presenting reports and summarising key points to Sales and Supply chain teams. The role involves handling large amounts of data and identifying patterns and outliers to enable review by exception. Influencing skills are required to challenge the teams and sustain engagement in the process.

The SSPD is responsible for organizing and leading the monthly Demand Meetings and / or Supply Reviews and will work with the S&OP Team to maintain and improve Demand Planning processes.

The ability to work under pressure and flexibility are key requirements because the business outlook can change very quickly, and the analysis and reports will need to be modified to ensure information presented is relevant. Therefore, great Microsoft skills to create and generate reports is required.

Job Description for the S&OP Senior Demand and Supply Planner - Major Job Functions:
Demand Planning (35%). The SSPD will be a key player in in the Demand Planning Process supporting the Sales Team with Forecast Analysis and making suggestions based on historic trends and market intel provided by Sales Managers. The SSPD will be responsible for setting up and running the monthly Demand Review meetings.
- Supply Planning (25%). The SSPD is the first point of contact of CAT’s representative on supply topics and will be responsible to prepare and run the Supply Reviews with CAT and to challenge CAT representatives on Supply issues and constraints.
- KPIs Analysis (15%). Run reports to update Forecast Accuracy KPIs and Supply Planning KPIs and perform root cause analysis to identify key drivers.
- Process improvements (15%). Review the Demand and Supply processes and provide inputs to make valuable changes to improve the status quo.
- Ad hoc requests (10%). Deal with any Demand or Supply requests or queries raised by the Sales or the Supply Chain Team.
