**Job Title**:Maintenance Assistant

**Department**:Building Services

**Reporting to**:Facility Buildings Manager

**Main Purpose**:
To provide general support for the maintenance and upkeep at all ENVY locations, ensuring that all

facilities run smoothly and trouble free.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- All aspects of painting and decorating
- Carrying out repairs on fixtures and fittings
- Plumbing work on sinks and toilets including leak repairs
- Regular checks on lighting and to replace defective light bulbs
- Some minor electrical works (changing light fittings)
- Carry out monthly emergency light and PAT testing (training will be given)
- Building of flat pack office furniture
- Wall fixing TV monitor brackets to walls
- Check on drainage, weekly, flushing/descaling and other routine building jobs
- Regular monitoring of flat roof drainage
- Any other ad hoc duties

**Experience/Knowledge**:

- Previous experience in a similar role and within hospitality is desirable
- Previous experience of lone working
- UK driving licence is desirable
- Experience with building maintenance is ideal

**Personal skills required for role**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Must be self-motivated and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Flexibility
- Innovative approach to work and problems
- Excellent attention to detail

**Hours of work**:Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:00pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
