Apollo Home Healthcare are recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a young boy who lives in Gateshead and requires support during the day on a part time basis. This will be to support him at Nursery and at his family home during the school holidays.

He enjoys playing with his toy cars and playing with tennis/footballs. He also likes to watch his TV programmes such as In the Night Garden.

Duties during the day will be to offer support at Nursery which could include carrying out personal care, assisting with male times and tracheostomy management.

Part of the role will be to participate in social activities, promote independence where possible and to offer lots of positive praise and comfort.

This is a great opportunity where you will be using your valuable skills from your gained experience and progressing into a Children's Complex Care Assistant.

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Desirable Experience**
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilation Management

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time
- Days
- Monday-Friday
- 8.15am - 12.15pm
- 20 hours per week
