Vat Specialist

**VAT Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager - Remote**

Working directly for the Group VAT Partner, we have an exciting opportunity for a VAT specialist to work remotely on a full time basis. Travel to offices in the South East / South West will be required on a fortnightly basis. We are able to consider different levels for the role from VAT Assistant Manager to Senior Manager.

This is a pure advisory role for a company who are exploring bold new ways of working in a new era of accounting. You can mould this role to who you want to be. If you are ambitious and want to be involved in business development and building relationships - there is the option to. Alternatively if you want to focus on technical challenging VAT work, this can be tailored to you too. An excellent career development opportunity with direct progression to Partner level if desired.

Guidance and development and mentoring will be provided.

- £38,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

**Key responsibilities and requirements of the role**:
You will be able to pro-actively manage your own workload, communicating with senior managers / directors / partners on a regular basis. This is essential due to working from home (or attending a local office as you prefer).
- build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- able to explain complex issues in a way non VAT experts will understand
- investigating and researching technical issues
- excellent technical skills and experience, and a detailed and up to date knowledge of VAT issues
- assistance in development of VAT marketing initiatives

You will be hardworking, have strong technical ability, an enquiring mind who is able to think commercially. Proficient in MS Office / highly PC literate, along with superb attention to detail, high level of organisation, strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multitask.
