Meeting and greeting patient, visitors, consultants and staff at reception, and acting as the main point of contact for queries; Taking telephone calls, answering patient queries and taking messages; Booking/amending patient clinic appointments; Raising invoices and collecting payments in person and over the telephone; Updating systems with details from patient registration forms; Maintaining an organised, tidy and well-stocked reception area; Scanning of relevant documentation onto the system, general housekeeping and filing; Responding to patients queries and questions through a shared inbox; Maintain thorough and accurate records of all patient and consultant correspondence; Cross role cover to support the team during times of annual leave and adhoc absences.
