**Warehouse Operative/Driver Cover - Permanent - 21k-22k - Tewkesbury**We have an exciting opportunity to join an exclusive client of ours based in Tewkesbury
You will be joining an established distribution firm who have been sourcing and supplying some of the most iconic kitchen products from around the world for nearly 20 years.
Within the warehouse you will be working within a small team ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day tasks.
You will be expected to liaise with warehouse colleagues as well as other departments.
Managing your workload is crucial but also with the ability to use initiative in finding extra tasks when workload is light in any quiet periods.
Within this role you will also be required to cover driving for any full-time drivers that take holiday or are off due to sickness.
Delivering to most areas of the country, when covering a driver, you may be required to stay out 1 or 2 nights a week.
For this role we are looking for someone that is looking to join their small team and would be happy fulfilling the role for a number of years.
This role covers most general warehouse duties such as Picking & packing, taking in deliveries, restocking shelves, loading vehicles, housekeeping and driving
**To be successful the role of Warehouse/Driver Operative you will show the following competencies**:

- Driving and forklift license is an advantage but not compulsory
- Full UK Driving License

**Warehouse Start & Finish times**:
Monday - 9:00 - 18:00
Tuesday - Friday 8:00 - 17:00
- With one hour for lunch at 13:00_
**Driving hours for covering company drivers**:

- Can change depending on run, but normally is worked out on 10-11-hour days and can require at least one overnight stop out if not 2 if covering a full week._
Including excellent company benefits you will be offered the following salary scale
- **Starts at**:_ £20,735
- **After 6 months will rise to**_: £21,235
- **After 12 months will rise to**:_ £21,735
Yearly salary reviews will continue throughout your employment and you will also have the potential to increase your salary sooner that stated above, reliant on your performance.
