**About the Role**

Due to business growth, THORCAL have an excellent opportunity to join their team at the region’s leading calibration laboratory. Supporting the sales function, you’ll deal with customer enquiries, liaise with suppliers, produce quotations and action orders. You’ll answer the phone and take customer queries, and will liaise with our Sales and technical teams to provide timely responses and excellent customer service.

**Job Type**

Full Time, 39 hrs per week (Half day Fridays), Permanent, office-based

**Responsibilities**
- Quote for calibration services, test equipment sales and hire.
- Order equipment and track progress with suppliers
- Progress enquiries into orders
- Deal with customer service enquiries
- Support the Sales Team with admin tasks

**About the Company**

Thorcal are the region’s leading UKAS Accredited calibration laboratory. Based in Hull, we provide calibration, repair, hire and sales of test equipment and instrumentation to customers in both the Humber and Yorkshire area and nationally.

Thorcal calibrate Electrical, Pressure, Temperature, Environmental and Gas Detection equipment for a huge range of industries, including Power Generation, Chemical Production, Aviation, Food, Healthcare and Marine. Our measurements keep the region running.

**About You**

**Essential Skills, Experience and Abilities**
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Personable, polite and professional manner both in-person and on the phone
- Highly organised and able to prioritise
- Accurate with a good attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Willingness to learn and an ability to understand and communicate technical information to customers.
- Good ICT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office and browser based programs such as Gmail, Google calendar and Google Drive.

**Desirable Skills, Experience and Abilities**
- A technical or engineering background is NOT required, though a familiarity and understanding of different types of test equipment would be helpful.
- Experience of sales admin in a B2B role
- CRM Experience

**Compensation**

£22000 basic salary + monthly company performance bonus

25 days + Bank Holidays + buy/sell a week's leave

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £23,200.32 per year
