**Job Summary**

Key Holder

2hours per day on Monday & Wednesday 5 PM Start

The Sheriff is a vital role within the law enforcement community, responsible for maintaining peace and order within the jurisdiction. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to serving the public, ensuring safety, and upholding the law. The Sheriff will lead a team of deputies and support staff, engaging with the community to foster trust and cooperation while effectively managing law enforcement operations.

**Duties**
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws while ensuring the rights of individuals are respected.
- Oversee the daily operations of the sheriff's office, including managing personnel and resources.
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents, providing immediate assistance as required.
- Conduct investigations into criminal activities and collaborate with other law enforcement agencies.
- Develop and implement community policing strategies to enhance public safety.
- Maintain clear communication with community members, addressing concerns and building relationships.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to incidents, investigations, and departmental activities.
- Provide training and guidance to deputies and staff to ensure high standards of service.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in law enforcement or a related field is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to drive safely under various conditions while responding to emergencies.
- Experience in conflict resolution and crisis management is advantageous.
- A background in community engagement or public relations is beneficial for fostering positive relationships within the community.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
