Vehicle Progressor

Overview:
**Lookers Ford / HUB South Shields**

**Contract: Permanent, full-time**

**Salary: up to £27,000 basic**

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm**

Here at South Shields, we have an incredibly exciting and brand new opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, and tech savvy individual to join our team as a Vehicle Progressor. This is a truly amazing role that will give the right person the chance to develop their career with a market leader

You will report to the accomplished General Manager, who will guide and support you in order to achieve incredible results in your new role as our Progressor. Working in partnership with our Sales and Aftersales teams, your role will involve photographing our sale ready cars, ensuring high standards are met every time. Excitingly, part of the role is to load and maintain our used car online showroom, taking and loading pictures, prices, and vehicle descriptions online daily. These will be used on our website and across our social media accounts.

In other areas, you may be asked to support the wider dealership teams as well as aiding the Used Vehicle preparation process by utilising a Prep Log to speed up efficiency. This role will be pivotal to the overall success of the dealership

**Responsibilities**:

- Taking and loading pictures, prices, and vehicle descriptions, placing them onto our online showroom daily
- CitNOW videos for our customers
- Organising vehicles on site to make it presentable for our customers
- Collecting and delivering vehicles from and to customers
- Ensure both the site (digital and physical) and vehicles are maintained to a high standard
- Assisting in the Used Car prep process and aiding with Motability claims

Qualifications:
Ideally, you will have prior demonstrable experience in a similar fast paced premium environment. However, this is not essential as we are always on the look-out for fresh, new talent You will be an excellent communicator and feel comfortable building relationships with colleagues across the business.

We are looking for a highly organised individual who pays attention to the finer details. You will have sufficient IT skills and a solid understanding of the basics of social media for business purposes. Additionally, you must be pro-active and able to communicate effectively with all departments in the dealership. Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
