**Job Introduction**

The i Paper is looking for an experienced picture editor to join our expanding print and online operation.

We are looking for someone who has experience in working in a fast-paced newsroom and who can assist the picture editor with the day-to-day running of the picture desk. This will involve overseeing accounts, managing editorial spend and team management.

They will know how to negotiate rates, have a good working knowledge of picture agencies and libraries as well as an enviable contact's book.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding operation as i grows its online readership through a subscription-based model and maintains high standards across its successful six-day print operation.

**Person Specification**
- A passion for photography and an excellent eye for a strong image
- Experience in Photoshop
- Good technical knowledge of picture management systems
- Be exceedingly well organised, with good attention to detail
- Understanding of UK legal covenants including copyright law
