**Responsibilities**
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling and storage.
- Picking
- Packing
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials efficiently.
- Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and distributing products as per company procedures.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders accurately.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in maintaining an organised and clean warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and improve efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent materials handling skills with attention to detail for quality control.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is desirable for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
