Technical PMO Lead

**About the role**:
We have an exciting new opportunity in our performance and enablement team as a Technical PMO Lead.
Reporting into the Head of Performance & Enablement, you'll be responsible for shaping and maintaining a strong governance capability for solution delivery which will be centred on lean principles.You'll champion the adoption of agile ways of working, risk and issue tracking, dependency oversight and elements of resource management. A key part of this role will be to establish strong stakeholder and third party relationships underpinned through tailored and timely interactions.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Working with the solution delivery director and heads of solution delivery to build a world-class, comprehensive delivery governance process
- Actively manage key relationships across IT, demand management, COO, change, architecture and third parties
- Report on the successes, risks and blockers across solution delivery and track how solution delivery drives value
- Promote agile principles and ensure solution delivery is working to lean governance, agile methodologies and modern engineering practices
- Champion the adoption of a continuous improvement culture and mindset
- Advocate the agile delivery office function and build an effective reporting capability
- Demonstrate lean principles and various models of agile reporting e.g. Kanban
**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:
- Experience managing PMO and Portfolio processes
- Delivery leadership/project management experience in an agile programme of work, including an understanding of modern engineering practices
- Knowledge of corporate and global IT strategy and architecture
- Demonstrable tracking and supporting of £10m+ programmes of work
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder and third party relationships
- Track record of collaboration and re-use of solutions in global organisations
- Ability to manage a demanding workload
