**About us**

Arctic Direct are a multi award winning tour operator offering bucket list travel to Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Greenland, North Pole, and Russia. We offer tailored tours primarily focusing on the Northern Lights.

**The Role**

The Sales Assistant role is ideal for someone who has a love of travel and passion to ensure that our customers have the best experience.

The role will also alleviate pressure on the sales team and make sure the whole travel experience is positive.

The day-to-day role will vary as the season progresses but will involve monitoring and responding to enquiries, answering the phone, and dealing with any queries, sending quotations, liaising with suppliers, updating internal systems, and ensuring an overall excellent customer experience.

**Key skills**:
Accuracy, sales experience, objection handling, attention to detail, problem solving, computer skills, good standard of written English, grammar, and spelling, friendly, helpful, able to work as part of a team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Creating and sending customer quotations
- Building customer relations
- Processes payments
- Finalising holiday bookings and sending booking documentation
- Booking flights
- Booking transfers and tours
- Liaising with suppliers
- Updating season pricing
- Processing customer cancellations and issuing documentation
- Following up on enquiries
- Assistance with mailer content for boosting lead generation

Placement function:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
