**Trainee / Experienced Cold Room Fitter** | Pontefract | Full Time | £10.50-£11.50 depending on level of experience** Are you looking for a career rather than a job? With excellent rates of pay from the get-go, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join this ambitious business Our client is a refrigeration construction company that builds, maintains, and repairs cold rooms, freezer rooms, insulated doors, prep areas, PVC cladding, and exterior cladding. You will be a positive and dedicated person who approaches every obstacle with a can-do attitude. Your strong eye for detail and the pride you take in your work will ensure that you excel in this role. **What can you expect in return?** - Initially working on trial, your hard work and commitment will be rewarded with a permanent position and excellent career progression as our company continues to grow - Full training along with an industry-specific NVQ, support will be given allowing you to get up to speed with refrigeration installation and equipping you with the accreditation you need to work on a wide range of projects with the company - Great rates of pay - To join a company with ambitious plans **Are you the right person for the job?** - With a background in construction of any nature you are at home working on your own initiative or as part of a team. It is essential that you are a CSCS card holder - You are able to get to Pontefract at times outside public transport operating hours - Although training on the elements of panel construction will be provided, it is essential that you can hit the ground running and prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team - You must have site experience and be comfortable using power tools of all descriptions, show enthusiasm, and be able to understand diagrams and mark build areas out - Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS & forklift training are a distinct advantage - As the role can be physically demanding; the employer can only consider applicants who are up to the task **What will your role as a Trainee/Experienced Fitter look like?** - As a Trainee Fitter, or Experienced Fitter with over 2 years in the trade you will be responsible for assisting with building, maintaining, and repairing industrial cold rooms, freezer rooms, and doors - The role involves working UK-wide and will involve working away from home with overnight stays, depending on the project you’re working on **What’s next?
