Bakkavor is one of the leading providers of fresh prepared food in the UK, with an international presence in the US and China. In the UK, we work with leading grocery retailers, focusing on their own label brands.

The Bakkavor Salads sector has two factories based on the same site in Spalding, Lincolnshire, employing over 600 people. These factories specialize in making salad accompaniments such as pasta salads, sandwich wraps and food to go salads, and are two of eight factories that are part of the Bakkavor Salads sector in the UK.

**The role**:
As one of our
**Mayo**
**Operatives**, you will work in our Mayonnaise factory where you will help produce mayonnaise and similar products for our clients and other Bakkavor sites.

If you’ve worked in manufacturing/production previously, can problem-solve in pressured environments and have experience motivating a team of colleagues, then this would be a great opportunity for you.

All of our jobs are busy and fast-paced, and you will work closely with other members of our production team, ensuring that each product we produce is of the quality that our clients expect; you will play your part by having excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Our
**Mayo**
**Operative** position is a platform to build a solid work history in a large multinational company who pride themselves on giving people a chance to reach their potential and progress with us.

This is a fast-paced role but the shifts will fly by and you’ll always have something to do. We will provide you with all appropriate PPE and full training to complete your role.

**Job Accountabilities**:

- Work independently and in small teams
- Assist team leader/manager where required
- Follow all Verbal and Written Food Hygiene processes
- Work at speed and accurately on your assigned tasks

**About You**:

- Be enthusiastic and conscientious
- Have a proactive approach to Food Safety
- Be comfortable moving and carrying heavy loads once trained in proper manual handling techniques
