**Children's Residential Support Worker**

**Permanent, full time position**

Do you have a caring nature and want to get the best out of children?

Want to support children in their everyday life and make a real difference?

Have experience in handling emotional and behavioural difficulties in others?

I am looking for Children’s Residential Support Workers for a home setting, providing support advice and assistance in the care of children and young people, safeguarding their welfare at all times. You will ensure that the practical, physical, and emotional needs are met at all times.

You would work within a team to achieve the aims and objectives of the home, attending to young people's meetings and contributing accordingly.

**Shift Patterns**

Our client is offering a 5 on with 2 off shift pattern so shorter days.

You will be expected to complete Sleep ins as part of the shift patterns.

**Requirements**:

- The right to work in the UK - no sponsorship
- FULL UK driving license essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A warm, compassionate, nurturing, and caring nature
- Ability to work with understanding, tact, and patience.
- Committed to providing person centered care.
