MBA are working exclusively with a global loss adjuster recruiting a number of home/field based role based adjusters across a number of key location in the UK. As a Loss Adjuster you will manage a mixed portfolio of domestic, commercial working with avariety of insurers, brokers and clients in a manner that supports efficient and effective settlement for the policyholder.
Job Scope
- To visit residential and commercial properties within the adjusters designated region
- Liaise with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
Required Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of the claims handling process - demonstrates knowledge of how the claims notification, investigation and settlement process is managed for a complex claim.
- Sound knowledge of the principles of insurance, and the related insurance products and services - demonstrates understanding of the core principles of insurance and how this is applied to claims management.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of insurance regulation and laws which affect insurance practice -demonstrates understanding of regulatory requirements and how to meet these on day to day basis.
General Background, Experience & Professional Qualifications
- Loss adjusting background - experience of handling large caseload and losses up to £100k.
- Ideally possess Insurance qualification (ACII or ACILA) but essential to show commitment to study and gain knowledge.
