Position: Production Operator (Newark) - Industry: Industrial > Manufacturing - Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire - Job Type: Full Time - Salary: £22.3K **Production Operator** **Newark, Full Time, 3 Shift Pattern, days, lates and nights** **£11.45 per hour** Our award-winning, forward-thinking client is looking for a **Production Operator** to join their well-established team in Newark. Our client is a market leader in their area of expertise within manufacturing of bespoke products for multiple industries. **THE ROLE** Your responsibilities as a **Production Operator** will include: - Maintaining production equipment to a high standard - To ensure all health and safety requirements including PPE are adhered to whilst working on site - To follow product specifications and produce relevant documentation once product is completed - To open product moulds, remove product, set up, and close product moulds to the required specification - Trim and finish products to a high standard - To operate the assigned machinery - To locate and use any raw materials required - Keeping workspace and general area clean and tidy to avoid hazards - Working pro actively during down time and supporting team members **THE CANDIDATE** The ideal **Production Operator** will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience: - Previous manufacturing background is desirable - A high level of attention to detail is important - Operating hand tools - Knowledge of health and safety in a manufacturing environment - Good verbal and written communication skills are required - A satisfactory level and Maths and English is essential - Time management skills are needed for the role **THE BENEFITS** The fantastic benefits included with this role are: - Monthly attendance bonus - Opportunity to progress up the pay grades - Free on site parking - Company events - On going training THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THIS VACANCY AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR APPLICATION.
