Interim Md

Sharp Consultancy are currently partnering with a high growth manufacturing specialist in the South Sheffield region as they look to appoint an Interim MD, initially on a 6-month basis.
Our client is looking for an exceptional business leader who has experience of manufacturing and/or production and who has the high level of drive necessary to support a high growth business embarking on a significant period of change and development.
A privately owned and strong leader in their industry, the business is highly profitable and has a reputation for high quality products as well as bespoke solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Board level leadership across all levels, including strategy and key deliverables
- Monthly WIP and results chair
- Costing in particular key project performance reviews
- MI and manufacturing performance reviews
- Process reviews and wherever necessary improvement management
- Management of senior management teams
- Growth strategy and the drive behind it
- Understanding of the financial position and able to drive alongside the FD improvements where needed
- Previous MD experience within a similar environment
- Drive and motivation to succeed within a high growth setting
- Ability to lead, delegate and communicate across all levels of business
- A strong commercial mind-set with a solution-based approach to build key business strategies
- Manufacturing or production experience (Although not essential)
