**About the client**

Our client is super early stage with huge ambitions to prevent the rising tide of consumer fraud in banking. With the rise of AI and smarter criminals it’s not just the elderly being conned. Our client is rearchitecting the consumer banking and payments infrastructure to help banks, consumers and merchants stop the scams.

The team is super high-level, with a female founder who raised $100m in the last fintech, and this venture is also well backed by top VCs, but currently at a much earlier stage. The team is ex Palantir, Bain & co and Morgan Stanley. The business has 3-5 years funding runway and they have validated some of the big problems to solve. The product designer will be key to bringing some of the solutions and the early stage product to life.

**The role**
- Propose user & information flows based on research
- Mock up data visualizations and visually compelling dashboards
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices & technology, including finding ways to be efficient with genAI tooling
- Design company visual assets, including website branding, design language for sales & marketing collateral, etc.

**About you**
- Most importantly, a person who obsesses over the small details for customers but knows when to ship quickly for internal iteration
- Someone who is supremely comfortable doing the “nitty gritty” on the whole spectrum from quick-and-dirty wireframing to high fidelity mock-ups
- Someone as comfortable with strategic thinking as with detailed designs who can collaborate with customers, engineers, PMs, and the founders
- Someone who wants to shape brand identity in your free time
- Familiar with fintech or banking and concepts like open banking
- 5+ years experience ideally in a fast moving environment (although we have some flex)
- Bonus if you like talking to clients / users
- You have a beautiful portfolio showing your work designing user flows, dashboards etc. with a focus on simplicity

The role offers a good starting salary, proper equity and healthcare. All of which are not so common in an early stage business.

The team like to work together and collaborate in person 3 days a week in Convent Garden, if this doesn’t appeal then probably not the one.
