Butler rose are partnered with a fantastic well known business in Lancaster. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Finance manager to join a fantastic business that is experiencing huge growth. Working closely with senior management team this role will be pivotalin delivering improved reporting and financial understanding throughout the business to support profitable growth. The role offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to develop and lead a first-class finance function.

Your new role as Finance Manager:
Your duties will include:

- Preparation of Management Accounts and Group Management Accounts: produce accurate and insightful monthly reporting packs and ad hoc analysis
- Help with project profitability analysis, working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Director monitoring on a real time basis to identify those projects that require renegotiation with the customer
- Provide commercial support to account management teams on costing models and customer term and conditions, assist with credit control as required
- Other duties include quarterly VAT returns, monthly PAYE/NIC payments, annual P11d's, ONS forms, liaising with Payroll re the Apprentice Levy calculation, monitoring WIP and cashflow forecasting
- Control and renewal of Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection and Group Healthcare
- Preparation of the R&D corporation tax claims
- Reconciliation of monthly intercompany balances and director loan accounts
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Preparation and input of general journals, prepayments and accruals
- Responsibility for auto-enrolment pension monthly uploads and maintenance
- Preparation of half yearly Bank loan covenant report
- Supervision and support with Credit control, Purchase Ledger and Payroll

The Experience & Qualifications Required:
ACA / ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Driven & ambitious individual who will thrive in a swiftly moving, ever-changing environment

Management experience including personnel and team development

Experience with Sage line 50 would be an advantage

Your Reward & The Package On Offer:

A salary of up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
