Winner of multiple awards across the industryAs a Driver's Mate you'll be out on the road assisting a Driver, inour 3.5 tonne vans. You will be responsible for calling our customers in advance to advise them of their delivery time. This role will involve the assembling of products in our customer's homes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintaining timely communication by phone with our customers to manage expectations
- Delivering products to our customers in timed delivery slots
- Map read and / or satellite navigation and provide clear instructions for the driver to locate customers' properties using the best route
- Providing exceptional customer service, by building a rapport and effectively dealing with any customer queries
- Heavy lifting and assembly of products to the customer's room of choice. This includes mattresses, bedframes and sofa beds, with the support of a Delivery Assistant.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage
- Assisting with vehicle checks and cleanliness of vehicle
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
- To undertake other duties/warehouse work as directed by management as required
You will have:

- A customer focused attitude as this role is vital to our customer journey
- Good work ethic, trustworthy, respectful, conscientious and a good team player
- Manual handling experience with ability to lift heavy beds
