**JOB TITLE: HI-Lift Driver**

**LOCATION: Manchester Airport**

**PAY RATE: £10.04 per hour**

**SHIFT WORK: Variable dependent on operational demand**

The main aim of the role will be to work closely with our aircraft cabin cleaning teams. You will ensure all items required onboard our flights are loaded onto the vehicles in cages and delivered in a safe and timely manner to the aircraft. When onboard the aircraft, you will ensure all soiled items are removed and placed onto the vehicle prior to assisting the cabin teams with replacing the new and laundered items onboard in the correct locations. Safety is paramount and as such it is your responsibility to ensure all safety regulations are followed when approaching and positioning onto any aircraft. You will also be required to carry out any other duties as requested by the Team Leader whilst onboard the aircraft.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To ensure safety guidelines are followed when positioning onto and off aircraft
- When Hi-Lift is positioned safely, ensure all checks are in place and follow the various airline instructions regarding the operation of opening aircraft doors.
- To work with the Team Leader and banksman to ensure the aircraft is cleared of used dressing items, and replenished in the appropriate locations
- To load and unload the Hi-lift vehicle with new and used products, cages, waste etc.
- To ensure the Hi-Lift vehicle kept clean and tidy at all time
- To assist the cleaning teams with any other duties as and when required onboard the aircraft, this will include cleaning related tasks and duties.
**Person Specification**:

- You must be able to understand English language to adhere to company notices, staff briefings and individual instructions provided to you, which will affect your working duties.
- Self-motivated and reliable with a conscientious approach to the Safety and Security aspects of your role.
- Flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently and thoroughly with mínimal supervision.
- Able to cope with a pressured environment.
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK with documentation to support this. Must undertake a CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) and CRC (Criminal Record Check) also provide us with 5-year checkable referencing history
- Excellent time keeping and must be able to work shift patterns
- Due to the hours of working, all applicants must be over 18 years of age
**Essential**
- Driving License is essential - Applicants will be trained in the operation of the vehicles
**Desirable**
- Driving license Cat C
- Previous Airline &/or Airport experience is desired although not essential
