**Job Title**: General Operative - Brewing
**Reports to**: Production Supervisor
**Location**: Saltaire Brewery - Shipley
**Contract Type**: Full-time

**Job Summary**

The **General Operative** will support the brewing and packaging processes by carrying out a variety of manual and operational tasks. The role requires attention to detail, cleanliness, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards to ensure the smooth running of the brewery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in aspects of the brewing process, including weighing ingredients, preparing raw materials, and cleaning equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the brewery
- Load and unload deliveries of raw materials and finished products
- Follow health & safety and food safety procedures at all times
- Support the brewing team with general duties as required

**About You**
- Previous experience in a brewery, food production, or manufacturing environment **preferred but not essential**:

- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good attention to detail and hygiene awareness
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions closely
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording data
- Counterbalance Forklift licence **preferable but not essential**
