**Job Title**:Housing Apprentice

**Salary Range and Hours**:Apprentice £22,070, 37 hours per week

**Contract Type**:Full Time / Fixed Term - 2 years

**Location**:Horizon Business Centre, Broadland Business Park, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF

We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Housing and Benefit Team supporting people impacted by increasing hardship levels and at risk of homelessness.

This is an enjoyable interactive role which is essential to support the team’s specialist services. The role will encompass a wide range of skills and responsibilities. You will assist customers seeking help with their housing, helping resolve the customers issues where possible or ensuring they are referred to another service quickly if needed.

This apprenticeship role includes studying towards the Level 3 Housing and Property Management apprenticeship qualification of which 20% of your time will be spent working towards completing this.

The successful applicant will be a customer focused team player, with an ability to communicate effectively with a range of people. You will be able to effectively manage your time to meet deadlines. Being part of the Housing & Benefit Team will provide you with the opportunity to help people either directly or by providing them with the skills they need to help themselves.

**Minimum entry requirements for apprenticeships in England include**:
English and maths at Level 2 (GCSE A-C). If you have not previously achieved these grades, or if you are unable to provide evidence of the qualifications, then you will need to complete these qualifications during your apprenticeship training.

You must be a citizen of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 consecutive years and have a Right to work in the UK.
